Oh, the love-hate relationship I have with my scale!  I weighed in yesterday for my official weigh-in and was really happy!  I'm in another DB (The Transformer) and that official weigh-in is tomorrow.  So today I went up .8 lbs from yesterday (unofficially).  I am still under both of my DB goal weights but I hate when the numbers go up.  Hopefully I will go back down that little bit for tomorrow's official weigh in for The Transformer.

Anyways, interesting tidbit.   I have been carb cycling and have done so this entire DB.  It worked well for me and I don't feel deprived.  But I can definitely see the pattern between my high and low carb days.  Most of the time, any weight loss I had was after a "low" day and any gain was after a "high" day even though my calorie consumption was roughly the same on a low or high day.

In summary, when my carbs are below 100 then I lose.  When they are over 100 I gain or stay the same.  Both are with average caloric intake between 1200-1300 calories.  I think we call need are good carbs, so that is why I think carb cycling is a good way to go.
