I drink a protein shake for breakfast everyday. They are quick and easy.  This is using the strawberry Shakeology from BeachBody - it is expensive to by on it's own, but I got it with a workout set.  In my opinion the strawberry tastes best with a coconut water base, which makes it good for a high carb day only.  The chocolate and vanilla both work with unsweetened almond milk.

 

i also like to bump up the protein content by adding a half scoop of 100% whey.  My brand is Cytosport muscle milk from Costco ( low carb powder.)

 

simply add  to blender:

 

 pint (12oz) of coconut water

1 cup frozen strawberries

1/2 scoop of vanilla whey powder 

and ice cubes

 

and blend!
