So I've been such a slacker the past couple months... which sucks because I lost 40lbs from January through May, and then just sort of gave up. I'm not even halfway to my goal! So now I'm renewing my efforts and trying something new: intermittent fasting. I have a couple friends who tried it with great results. I think I'm gonna give it a shot for a month or two and see where it gets me. The way I'm fasting (there are a few different ways) is by alternating days where my caloric intake is normal with days where it's about 1/5 the normal amount that I'd eat. I'm on day 3 right now and feeling pretty good. I don't work out hard on days that I'm fasting, but I do a lot of walking. I'm down 2lbs in the last few days, so we'll see if the scale keeps heading that way! At any rate, it's been weeks since I've seen it move, so I'm just happy to see things going in the right direction :)
