Someone on Facebook has helped me understand PB2 and I have now bought some original PB2 and PB2 chocolate to try as well as a Tru-Nut Brand 4 variety pack of powdered peanutbutter in original, maple, cinnamon, and chocolate. This is in addition to the SuperButter 4 variety pack I purchased. I know this is lot and was a lot of money, but they will last me a long time! I'm so excited thinking of the ways to add some flavors to my shakes and maybe to some of my more boring yogurts! Oh and I'm thinking of 35 calorie toast or graham crackers for the SuperButter as breakfast or a snack! I can't wait to try all these new treats!!!

Well he said it is a powdered peanutbutter. He mixes it in with his shakes to add peanutbutter flavor without a lot of the fat or calories. I am going to try this too, and I'm going to try it in yogurt and possibly in PBJ sandwiches... I have found by web search you can use it in a lot of recipes that call for peanutbutter and it reduces the fat and calories. I wouldn't say I know exactly what it's all about yet, but I am opened to some new ideas for trying it now. I don't know how the flavor matches up... but in my mind it is something like protein powder that we add to our shakes or something (not really a protein powder but acts the same way) to add the PB flavor without a lot of the calories or fat. A serving of it is about 45 calories I think versus 190 for real peanutbutter. I am not sure if I will like it, or it will be the same, but I'm willing to try it now.

I'm still not 100% sure about it, but all I can do is try it. I am hoping if I don't like it maybe my boyfriend will like it and I can just let him have it. I am hoping to like it though. It sounds like the more you start using it the more you can find to use it in. As for the SuperButters. Those are actually butters with the consistency of peanutbutter but made from no treenuts or peanuts. I think they are made from things like sunflower seeds and other seeds. I am going to try them on toast, or graham crackers, or on bagels (I don't eat bagels that much anymore they have a lot of calories and just make me hungry in a couple hours) and such. I think if I add them to a bagel, the extra protein may help keep me from being hungry as fast though.
