Does anyone else struggle like me on the weekends? Weekdays, I'm good. I'm busy at work, with other activities, and have little time to eat out of boredom.

This weekend was a challenge, yes, but one that I stuck to!! I kept under 1900 calories each day with yummy food and yes, a donut and a half. Boom!!

Friday the week took over and I fell asleep around 10 after my boyfriend and I made healthy tacos together. Trader Joe's has the best low-carb tortillas. I'm not doing low-carb, but they are 45 calories per taco versus about 90 for regular. Score.

Saturday I got up early for a community Barre/Yoga/Pilates fusion class and I am still sore! I still have yet to get back to a regular workout schedule, so this class was very much needed and enjoyed. We headed to the pool later on, where I usually sip on liquor and beer. Today only involved one skinny margarita, 3oz. silver tequila and the lite jose cuervo mixer. It was all that I needed. For dinner that night, I went light with just a veggie burger sandwich.

Sunday, yes, I had a donut (GASP!) and it was great. My boyfriend, for some reason, thought buying a dozen was a great idea. Talk about resisting the urge... We slept ALL day which really helped eating out of boredom, because I didn't, haha. We also went to our favorite Mexican Cantina that night and I had the fajita chicken taco salad. Again, having just about a serving or less of chips. It had sour cream on it, but I ate it because I had almost 1000 calories to spare. I did not eat the bowl - that would have put me over the edge for sure!

How did y'alls weekend go? Any successes, lessons learned??
