Good evening Diet Bet Nation!  

While at Dick’s Sporting Goods yesterday, I walked over to the free weight section and picked up a 10 pound weight.  I could not believe that I was carrying this amount of weight with me 24/7 a year ago!  I remember the feeling of squeezing into my jeans, and being winded when climbing stairs - but picking up the actual amount of the weight puts everything about my journey into perspective.  

I purchased this 10 pound weight as a gift for myself to serve as a reminder of how far I’ve come! This past week I’ve been completely focussed on working through a plateau - I was frustrated that not even a half a pound could be dropped after days of the cleanest eating ever! Now, I have a 10 pound weight to remind me of how far I’ve come for when I get frustrated, and I’m going to do tricep curls with this reminder! ;)

Today was the first day back to school for me! Every time that I’ve quit T25 in the past was because of the stress of school, and exercising was the easiest thing to cut from my schedule. This semester, I plan on making T25 the first thing I do every morning, so that I can eliminate all excuses - I can’t be too stressed about the day when the sun hasn’t even come up yet! Today was Day 1 of my Spring semester, I woke up at 6 am this morning, and welcomed the sun with Total Body Circuit!  Plus, this morning was the first time I nailed Total Body Circuit - a sign that it's going to be a great semester!  :)
