Okay. We are like a little over a week into this and I am feeling discouraged. Last two day's I have been constantly hungry. Too cold to drink water without being thirsty. Only lost a pound in the first week and not even half of what I needed. I HATE WINTER!!! It keeps me couped up because I can't take the cold... IDK what to do....

Sign in to CommentI live in Alaska if that makes you feel better :) It's dark and cold here. I have a heater that 10 minutes before I wake up I turn on before I get out of bed so my room is warm. Makes it easier. Sometimes I jump in a hot shower right away so I warm up and feel more awake to get to the gym. I drink a lot of tea to curb cravings. I also do hot yoga. Feels amazing in the winter time and I look forward to it. Cold weather definitely makes me more hungry, but teas really do help. And oatmeal in the morning with protein powder and a couple egg whites mixed in. Very filling and I find breakfast keeps me from over doing it later in the day. :)

You took a great first step just joining the group!! As far as being hungry, I found if I eat more often, I don't get as famished. I try to eat every 3-4 hrs. (My plan is 1200 cal/day. ) Also, I noticed that when I'm my hungriest, I end up losing that week! Try warm tea after your water to warm you up. Hope this helps!!
