I made great choices today.  I knew I was going to have to work late today, so getting in my 10,000 steps was going to be a struggle, but not for this girl.  I planned ahead and did my 10 minute easy walk this morning before heading to work. This little work out gives me about 1600 steps.  So I started my day ahead of the game.  At this point I am not making a promise to myself to do that every morning, but it sure helped today.  My food choices have been almost perfect all week long. 

I did have one disappointing day this week when I gain a pound.  Not sure how I am doing right now, won't know until Sunday morning, but I feel stronger.  The walking is getting easier to get through and my hips and legs don't hurt as much later.  Win Win.

No matter what the scale says Sunday I feel good about what I am doing.  Even if the scale doesn't show the number I want I know it will someday.  I will continue to have a positive outlook most days. I will get stronger and better every day I try.

I haven't really been having any food cravings either.  One of the girls at work brought in a whitman sampler today and I really wasn't tempted until the end of the day.  Again I made a wonderful choice.  There were two small chocolate covered almonds and I choose thoses as a small treat.  It was just enough sweetness that I didn't drool over the rest of the box. 

Who would of thought that a simple idea as this diet bet, could make huge changes in my life.  I am thankful to the concept and that I had the courage to join.
