I have been trying to find the time to workout. I work 8-5 everyday, pick my daughter up, then go home to get dinner started, do homework and put her to bed. I have been contemplating changing gyms. Gold's has a daycare!! I know this sounds too much like an excuse, but I have been watching what I eat. I know the pounds would fall off faster if I were working out 5 days a week. Its sad when you think you are taking time away from your child if you take 30 mins out of a day to become a better you. Its obvious where the problem is. IT'S ME!!! I have to start loving me enough to take the time out to be healthier for a longer life. It's better to take that 30 mins a day then to take me away from her permanently. 1 DAY AT A TIME!!!

Sign in to CommentNice post. Time management is often a hurdle of a successful exercise program. It is one obstacle that sometimes defeats a lot of people. My advice is to get a program that you can do at home. While I go to the gym because my wife and kids like going there, I would be content at exercising at home. I spent some time in two branches of the military and never did I have to set a foot into the gym to be in great shape. I call our gym (LifeTime Fitness) "Friends University" lol. My wife started going there because her friends did. They would hang out and laugh and talk and use machines intermittently throughout their workout. It is also really nice and they have a few hot tubs and pools so in the summer it is great. I prefer getting up in the morning and throwing my T25 workout into the DVD player and working out at home. It is an amazing program in which I think they just updated? I have the older version, got it on Craig's List for $40. Maybe give that a try?
