So the last time I wrote a blog post, I was proud because I was able to be healthy despite going through some pretty scary things in the hospital with my brother. I was excited to start my last 7 days exercising and eating super well so I can maintain my weight loss and even maybe lose more. Much to my dismay, my 2 year old son and I caught the rhino virus while I was in the hospital with my brother and I have been in bed super sick for the past few days. Naturally, that meant no exercise. I only had ginger and hot water. Water would come up quickly. I was terrified that I would have put on some weight since I was so sedentary. I was soooo bummed out not to have been able to stick to my plan. The good news....I actually lost over 3 pounds! Lol. It gave me an extra push, imagine that? I know it's cheating, but I find it funny that something so awful feels so good now that I'm feeling better. Still can't eat, the smell of food makes me nautious, but I can cook for my babies and move around. Woohoo!

Fortuneately for me, I actually got a better result from not being able to follow my plan. My challenge now is to keep it up till weigh in! "You always have a plan until you get punched in the face."  Although I know Mike Tyson was talking about a much different type of challenge, it still applies to me. Good luck and always look to the positive in all situations. You might get a boost in the most unexpected way. 

5 more days till weigh-in and my birthday! Woohoo!
