Yay!!! I finished my first dietbet!!! I am so glad I found this site! I am an achiever, competitive and financially motivated person so this site is perfect for me!!! I started my transformation on Jan 1st and have already managed to lose 17 lbs!!! (50lbs to go!!! or more according to those silly height weight charts that don't work for people with big builds & lots of muscle- powerlifting used to be a favorite pasttime of mine) Now that I am on a roll I just need to keep going until I finally reach my goal.  Don't get me wrong, there have definitely been days that I want to give up and eat a whole pizza and days that my legs just are so tired that getting started on my daily cardio is torture. (I've found if I can push through the first 5-7 minutes it gets better). I have to take each little step and build on it. I still have a long way to go if I want to be able to scratch the half marathon off of my bucket list someday!
