I'm boring.  Yup.  I admit it.  About 95% of my breakfasts look the same.  Mini-wheats and milk.  Oh, but I switched it up last week for a few days:  Maple sugar bite-sized mini-wheats instead of the regular ones.  LOL!!

Before dietbet, I used to have a bowl of mini-wheats.  I mean a B-O-W-L of mini-wheats.  Like damn-near heaping with those little beauties.  Now, since dietbet, I methodically count out 21, yes, twenty-one mini-wheats.  21 mini-wheats is a serving.  I can still see the bottom of the bowl most of the time.  Actually, 21 is working out fine...I usually feel satisfied eating far fewer than I used to think I needed...so the portion size thing has been eye opening.

I got a milk-carton full of egg-white the other day, and have had that once or twice for breakfast as a omelette (eggs, mushrooms, cheese).  I felt good because I know thats the right kind of meal I should be having for breakfast.  Low calorie, low sugar, high-protien...all goodness.  I know I should wean myself off mini-wheats.  I keep telling myself there is fiber, and its not that bad, yada, yada.  But as this dietbet starts to get harder and harder as my weight goes down, I know I need to keep improving.  I track all my food through the day, and since starting dietbet I'm almost always under my caloric needs for the day.  But stilll...this old dude eating mini-wheats...I mean, c'mon.

So I'd like some of your views:  Is it time for me to ditch my 21 mini-wheats?  Or can I get away with it?  Whats your usual breakfast?  Is it possible to be a normal, healthy weighted dude, and still enjoy my stupid mini-wheats, or shall I grow up, eat less processed, less sugary junk, and eat a nice adult breakfast.  :)
