A quick update on my end because, at 22,000+ steps, it's been a long day.

A solid 5 km run at a steady 6.1 mph has me feeling pretty optimistic about my body's ability to up my speed and/or distance over the next two or three weeks. I was a little worried about how my knee would fare given that I am also doing T25, but my body is much stronger now and I am not feeling the same level of tenderness that I have in the past.

Tonight was lower body focus in T25, and I am a little shocked at how easy these work outs are getting for me. Some moves are definitely more challenging than others, but I am keeping pace and going strong with no modifications on any of them. Only 1.5 weeks left in Alpha cycle before heading into Beta. I am looking forward to that transition a lot as I definitely feel the need for a new challenge.

Weighed in tonight, after rehearsal, under my dietbet goal so hopefully that will translate to a solid 0.5-1 lb buffer over the next two or three days.

Also, I picked my magic number. I've decided that I am going to take a break at 164 lbs. That puts me in a healthy BMI range, and brings my total weight loss to 90 lbs over the course of 16-18 months (my goal is to hit my magic number by May, but will be happy with a June completion). Taking a break doesn't mean going back to my old habits- I don't actually plan on changing much about what I am doing right now at all. But it does mean shifting my focus towards sustainability and maintenance for at least a month or two before setting to work on toning and muscle training.

So that means I have about 20 lbs to go, and lots of work to get me there! Maybe another diet bet is in my immediately future...?
