This morning, I'm headed to my sister-in-law's to spend some time with family.  They told me to make sure that we "come hungry."  These particular people tend to eat heavy, cholesterol-laden food.  I usually just jump right in and have what they're having, but since today is the OFFICIAL start of the BET BIG TO WIN BIG game, I don't want to get off to a bad start.

What would you do in this situation?  I don't want to snub someone by not eating the food that they provide, but I also don't want to sabbotage myself when I'm on a streak (albeit yesterday was the first day of the streak).

One possibility would be to be up front with my family - tell them that I'm challenging myself to eat clean and lose weight, both for myself and for this DietBet.  For some reason, I don't really want to do that.  I think I will eat minimally, trying to stay as clean as possible in terms of what I choose, and then keep it light for the rest of the day.  I'll have to pay attention to my hunger signals, which is always potentially risky since my stomach likes to freak out every hour or so, terrified that I'm going to let it starve to death.

What would you do in this situation?

Happy gaming!

Best,

Adriane
