I've been active for more than 2 years. The majority of the activity delt with weightlifting. I've done 5/3/1, Stronglifts and other such programs. I made major gains in strength and WAS transforming my body. That was pre-October 2014. Then the holidays hit. I stopped working out because I felt pretty good at where I was at (but was still quite away from goal). Stupid move, I know. But I became complacent. And well, here I am...4 months later and 14 pounds heavier. I'm going backwards.

Enough is enough.

I decided to join DietBet to restart this weightloss thing. I'm mixing things up a bit this time around. Still taking a break from weightlifting but I will go back to it. I think I loved it more during the summer. For now, I will work on cardio and just burning off as much fat as I can for a couple of months. I started 30 Day Shred - wow that kicked my ass as if I wasn't fit at all. Not only have I lost my gains but I've lost my fitness.

Word to the wise. Never just stop being active. Keep going.
