I finished my step goal of over 6,500 steps and 3 miles before the date changed at midnight on my Fitbit.

For the Eat Drink and Be Skinny (eatdrinkandbeskinny.com) Planks and Push Ups Challege, Day 10 was back to Planking.  I managed to do Level 2 (forearms and toes) Plank for 2 minutes today!  This was a huge improvement for me.  My benchmark on Day 1 was 1 minute, and I had gotten up to 1 minute and 30 seconds on another try, and then 1 minute the next time and only 51 seconds the last time.  Something just felt right this time, and I was able to hold strong for 2 minutes!  I was super pleased with my accomplishment with this one.

For the Blogilates (blogilates.com)  Challenges, I completed Day 10 from each challenge.  The Butt Lift Challenge was 10 squats, 10 pointed butt lifts each side, 10 fire hydrants each side, & 8 heel kicks each side.  The Flat Abs Challenge was 10 roll ups, 10 ankle reaches, 10 double leg lifts, & 8 reverse crunches.  For the Thigh Slimming Challenge was 10 plie squats, 10 leg swings each side, 10 side lunges each side & 8 side leg lifts each side.

Day 10 on the Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans (shrinkingjeans.net) Lose the Love Handles Challenge was a rest day.

I had more energy and felt like I could have done a lot more.  However, my stomach is still super bloated and crampy from my time of the month.  I know from yesterday doing extra stretches and exercises (a few extra stretches and poses and I got really crampy and my belly was hurting a lot more).  So for now, I am just going to continue following my Challenge calendars day to day until the time of the month passes and I can get more active again.

I started eating better again finally for the most part though.  I finally got my water intake back up a good bit.  I had 5 servings of fruit and veggies, and tried to get in more protein (though I didn't keep count of it for the day).  I did break down and have a piece of German Chocolate Cake though, and though it tasted good, I am done with the sugary tasting air.  I consider the junk I have been eating the past few days (I am not sure why I have been indulging in so much crap lately when I know it does me no good at all) to be sugar or salt filled air because it has absolutely 0 nutritional value and just results in taking up calories from my plan and making me hungrier than before I had it.

I am completely ready to ditch the junk again and focus on water, protein, calories in versus calories out, and fruits and veggies.  I am way happier when I focus on these things and get my exercises in.  I can't wait for the time of the month to go away... I think that is what is causing some of the junk food issues lately too plus it makes me too bloaty and crampy to do the exercises I wish I could be doing.  I should only have a few days left... hopefully it is gone by the weekend!!!
