I have 12.2 pounds to lose. I can use all the help I can get so I decided to start tody. My plan is to keep it simple. Slim fast for b-fast and lunch and a sensible dinner. I am fleshing that out with fresh produce from the garden. I stuck to my plan today and I'm happy about that. Usually in the evenings after dinner, my brain goes into "eat everything" mode. It's really difficult to reel that in. I know you are not suppose to reward yourself with food but I kinda did anyway. I told myself that if I ate well today I could enjoy a glass of wine. Being a busy mom of 2 crazy boys, I live for my wine in the evenings. Instead of having the glass of wine right after dinner, I waited until my brain calmed down and got out of the eat everything mode. After the urge went away I had my drink and now I feel satisfied. It's funny how such a strong urge to eat everything in sight can disappear rather quickly.
