I agree that artificial sweetners are terrible for you, and also too much sugar is bad and can be addictive for some. But I've never used the fake stuff and don't have much sugar either - and I'm still fat! So sweet stuff isn't the only problem. My trigger is anything salty and fatty - like chips, or fried chicken.

Everyone has different challenges, sugar and articficial sweetners is a major one for alot of people. If these are not your triggers then you are lucky. I saw something on DR Oz about a lady that had a salt addiction. Her tastes buds were actually changed, she had to go through a detox. When she completely cut out salt, she couldn't go back. Try eliminating salt and fried foods. A trigger is something we tell ourselves we have no power over. You have the power. You can change, especially if you know what you crave. Avoid fast food, make you food, grill everything, use healthy fats like coconut oil and avocado. Anyone can change. I thought I couldn't. I went from buying strictly fast food, drinking tons of soda, chips, cookies, snacks, to cutting all of that out. It didnt' happen overnight, and I do have them sometimes, but for the most part I eat healthy now. If I can do it, you can too
