Be persistent. I'd call and email. Logic says that a cast weighs more than no cast. And if your weight with the cast is less than the 3% but no more than 6% from your start weight, then YES I'd give it to you. I'd also mention that breaking your heal was not planned and be prepared to submit proof from your doctor that it is legit. Good Luck.
