Hi! I am Emily or Em for short.

I have always been interested in health, nutrition and exercise.
I was planning on going to college for nutritional science. I wanted to help people with eating disorders. However, I ended up getting pregnant and having a beautiful, wonderful daughter.
I went from gym rat to tubby mommy. Not ever truly being very heavy, yet that was never my initial body type. Is it ever?

I have been back and forth with healthy eating and exercise. I have chronic lyme disease, so my body fights again everything that I do. I think I have found the right balance. I exercise 3-4 times a day for an average of 20 min and it is typically HIIT (high intensity impact training) along with body weight resistance. Otherwise, I'm prone to joint injury. The high impact (like jumping) usually doesn't last long with my knees.
