We've all been working hard.
What have you accomplished so far that you haven't been able to do in a long time or have never been able to do before that makes you proud?

For me, it's doing a cartwheel.

I grew up lean and limber from ballet. I was usually the most flexible one in the class. I enjoyed doing gymnastics as well. Over the past few years, I have been working off pregnancy pudge and trying to regain my pre-pregnancy self - so I was scared to try to do a cartwheel. I thought I was going to fall on my face because my weak arms wouldn't be able to hold me.

So I was taking the trash out the other day and tried to do a ballet leap called a cabriole. I haven't ever been the best a jumping. Well, I succeeded at doing that with more ease than I have over the past few years. I decided, "If I can do that, then I'll try a cartwheel." Logic? I did the cartwheel with grace and ease. Now, I feel like my body is able to go a further distance than I thought.

These accomplishments build up our confidence. They tell us that our bodies can do much more, especially if we put out mind to it. We need to be mentally ready for the changes in our bodies, so we can achieve. Working out and eating healthy is one thing. Put your mind to it and everything changes.

I want to hear about your accomplishments. Have you increased weights for lifting? Did a pull/chin up? Finallly, did a full push up? No matter how big or small, if you are happy and poud about it - share it!

Truly,

Emily
