Good evening Diet Bet Nation!
Today is my close friend's 30th Birthday and a group of us are going out to celebrate - first dinner at an Italian Restaurant and then see Of Montreal play at The Blind Tiger!
I'm really excited to celebrate my friend's birthday, but its going to be temptation city tonight, so I am armed with a Game Plan to not completely throw off my hard work in one evening.
My first arm of defense is that I announced to everyone that I was going to be the Designated Driver. Of course, I wanted everyone, especially the Birthday Girl, to have a great time tonight without having to worry about driving from dinner to the concert, and getting home safely. It is also an accountability to myself that I'm not going to drink empty calories tonight. I definitely do not want to erase my Total Body Circuit workout this morning by drinking a Rum and Coke. Just water and unsweet tea for me tonight!
I am also currently munching on almonds and an apple so that I'm not hungry before dinner, and then the bread/butter on the table will not tempt me!
