I had such a great 'diet' day yesterday.  I woke up this morning thinking that my weight would have a huge drop on the scale.  Because that makes sense, right?  Have one good day and reach your goals?  Well, the scale was actually up from yesterday by over a pound.  Was I pissed?  Hell ya.  I wanted to be down at least a pound.  It was kind of discouraging.  The old me would have walked out of that bathroom and started cooking bacon; the new me was very tempted to do this as well, but she didn't.  I filled a pot with water and started some hard boiled eggs.  I have to keep reminding myself that it took me 2 years to put this weight on; it's not going to come off in a week.  

I started my first DietBet on Tuesday at over 167 pounds.  That was an evening weight, fully clothed.  I'm used to morning weights, unclothed, so this number was quite the shocker.  I started my second DietBet last night at 165 pounds fully clothed.  That's over 2 pounds lost already in less than a week.  These are the successes that I need to focus on.  Yes, my scale was up this morning from yesterday morning's weight, but it's down from Tuesday!
