The title says it all. I am a sleepyhead. Sleep is cheat meal, the me time, the vain of my exsistence. I'm either missing it or abusing it. Waking up isn't hard, it's just not curling back up and going back to sleep that I fight, and lose to.
I am full of energy, a constant talker with a lovely attitude (unlike everyone else in my house) but I am not a natural born early riser. I don't even understand people who get up early if they don't absolutely have to. I hate waking up when it's still dark out and living in Miami, FL, that's only in the dead of "winter." There's so much to do here and no excuse, other than the humidity (which doesn't bother me to be honest) to not get out there and get going.
So here's the plan:
1. Set the alarm for 6am (currently set for 6:30am)
2. Get out of bed
3. Stay out of bed (sh*t, shower and shave... no hairy legs!)
4. Move (This means, I'll have to get my kids up earlier too. EVERYONE MUST SUFFER WITH ME!!!)
If all I gain from this challenge is changing my sleepyhead pattern and becoming a morning person, then I will have done something I have always wanted to do.
Weight loss is something we all think about, talk about (learn new methods, share our stories, insprire family and friends), work at, and watch on TV or Social Media. It's time to look past our weight and look, talk, do more lifestyle changes.
I'm in and ready to take my health, fitness and life game up!
