Unbearable, Uncomfortable, Unstoppable

I have committed to myself to make this about lifestyle --- I will not diet or deprive myself of anything -- its lead to my failure in the past. What I am doing different this time is making 1 goal at a time -- as it sets in (a habit) I add one more at a time til it feels natural -- then add another. My first changes are --
1. Sleep time is 6-9 hours /naps are not an option (I get up anytime after 6 hours -- and the alarm is set to 9 if its a day off with no early plans) --my old habit was 3-4 -- and catch up naps on days off -- remnants of longterm nightshift worker --
2. Take my own lunches to work --- no solo take out on way home, plan for meals (I work 12 hour shifts --- its been an issue -- and Im single so hated cooking for 1)
3. One new healthy recipe per week (Im a good cook --- but I lack variety at times -- especially if its just for me)
