Hey!! Read your main page post, but knew this reply would be long :)
My older sister has celiac disease as well, cutting out all gluten helped her feel so much better within a week.
And although I'm not personally doing Whole30, my brother and sister in law did it with great success, both in weight loss and in figuring out what was making her feel sick. They did the 30 days, and gradually added food groups back in. If she felt sick they would cut out that food (such as Nightshades)
Good luck! And I totally agree on not buying larger sized clothes :)

Thanks Rebecca, I think I can give up gluten if necessary but nightshades would make me cry.
