    Your Mini Challenge for the next two days is to get playful with your exercise!

    I encourage everyone to break into a skip at some point - it really feels amazing and puts a smile on your face!

    Along with that, try something playful that makes you feel like a kid again! Skip, jump rope, hula hoop, hop scotch, toss a ball, play tag, jump on a trampoline, roller skate, etc..

My daughter does gymnastics and she’s teaching me how to do a proper cartwheel so we can take some silly pictures lol. Plan to work on that tonight.

I was a bit worried because it was my birthday weekend. I decided to let myself go a bit and eat what I wanted but I didn’t overdo it. I only gained about a pound on my birthday.

I then discovered an amazing hack to stay with the program and keep the pounds coming off. This hack helped me loose that pound I gained on Thursday and then an addition 6 pounds over the next 3 days!

Here’s the secret: get the stomach bug with a moderate to high fever and only get out of bed use the bathroom (which will be more often then you’d like, but that step is critical). Spend the next few days miserable and secluded from your loved ones and watch the fat melt away! Don’t be tempted to stray from the program from the sound of your wife trying to get your son to do something or your five year old daughter just wanting you to hug her and put her to bed, those are traps!

Though this wasn’t an easy process, I am now officially 6 pounds under my end of diet bet goal weight and far under 200lbs. I haven’t been this weight in years!

Just in case someone wants to take this seriously, this is a joke, don’t do it. It is a miserable way to spend your birthday and weekend.

    I think this is a fantastic reminder at this point in the game. This is the time when things get a bit more difficult. It's been a few months, life has it's ups and downs, and it's easy to lose sight of that excitement or to get discouraged.

    Please think back to how you felt before you joined this game. What are some things you can celebrate about the person you are today versus the person you were in December?

How is everbody doing. I hit a little plateau and my monthly is on the way. So I signed a Kickstarter again to get it going again. I gained like 2kg but the most will be water. So if I have a good week I think I should be able to loose 2kg.

What I wonder: Did anyone do another 6 months directly after one? For me it sounds hard to do the 3% again in the first 2 rounds. But on the other hand for me it would be below 3kg so, it should be possible.

From my experience the faster you lose weight, the faster you put it back on. I am not joining any challenges after but looking to keep implementing the sustainable changes that I’ve made since Jan. I wish there was a maintenance challenge!

Well soccer practice got cancelled yesterday because of sleet so I let that derail my entire day of exercise and healthy eating. BUT, when I saw a glimmer of sun outside this morning, knowing it is supposed to rain all day, I got up and got in a 3 mile run to start the day. I’m considering it a good recovery of the weekend. Let the healthy eating commence!

  • Spring soccer has started for my son! Which means for a minimum of 3 or 4 hours a week I am “stuck” at the soccer fields while he practices. 1/2 mile outer perimeter of soft grass. My knees cry tears of joy!! 4 mile run/walk in the books! Including a slight diversion to the gas station down the road bc my daughter had to pee and the soccer facilities aren’t open yet 😂. Can’t wait to do it again on Saturday!!

  • Proud moment of the day: I left the house at 8 am for school drop-off/ work. We got back at 4 and had to leave at 5:15 and won't be home until around 9 pm. So I took the hour i had, to make a healthy meal and put it in a container that would keep it warm. Now I'm sitting at my daughters soccer practice and having a picnic lol

I was just posting in my other DietBet that tonight was my son’s first soccer practice and I walked during the whole thing to not lose the time! But we went out to eat after! Good for you for finding time for your health in your busy day! We can do this!

Hi everyone! I’m here for some extra accountability. I’m currently in a transformer and I’m ahead (yay!) but my motivation is fading (boo!), so trying this also for a month to get myself back on track. Working on my last 10 lbs after losing and gaining the same 40-50 lbs for years, and determined to have this be the last time I have to lose it! Good luck everyone!

I am annoyed that I have only lost 5 ish pounds since the start of this challenge. I have not been consistent nor disciplined. I have decided to post every day on this platform and to stay committed and accountable.

My plan is, since I am currently not working a full time job, workout for 45 minutes twice a day; limit, not eliminate carbs (sticking to good carbs), stay away from sat fat, limit sugar; and limit alcohol to once a week only 12 oz. Calorie intake will be between 1,500 to 2,000. Drink a gallon of water everyday. I will post a photo of my food everyday and confirm that I have done the workouts. Let's see what happens this month.

Wish me luck! I really need this transformation.

Consistency is better than big changes that don’t last. Pick a few of those goals to start and get really consistent with them!
