I want to put an end to the closet dramas; I actually love fashion, but not modeling it on my own body. I want to feel buoyant, rather than heavy. I want to have the energy and stamina to keep up with my kids. I want to climb rocks! :]

Non-scale victory of the week!

I tracked almost all of my food during vacation, then intentionally gave myself a break at the end. I’m not depressed about any weight gain; I learned that I like indulging while on vacation, and I’ve accepted that it will require work to get back on track when I’m home. It’s too hard to be strict without a kitchen or a real grocery store, so I’m cool with it.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have tracked even less of my food.

Get groceries and eat lean! I’m excited to see how I feel after a week of eating clean and low sodium. Also enough water.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Got back on track with some meal prep, and started to find my groove in the new place.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have chosen better quality calories at some of my meals, but overall I was pretty good. For instance, after walking 17k steps and being so hungry I craved Taco Bell, instead we went to In N Out and I had a Flying Dutchman mustard style, and that was the worst thing I ate all week. I’ve been being gentle with myself if the food I eat fits my macros, but I would feel better if the quality was higher all around.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Not getting winded while moving into our new home!! My consistent exercise leading up to our move allowed me to stand and move all day all week without tiring too much to continue.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Meal prepped to save me when I was tired! I had a lot of pizza and maybe too many beers, so thankfully I was still in a deficit with all the cardio and lifting, but I could have eaten to fuel my body better.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I did not eat strictly, but I didn’t overdo it at any time either. I was good at restaurants, having one cocktail which I didn’t even finish because it was too sweet. It was my go-to in the past, and this week it was meh.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I got caught up in needless drama on the internet, which threw me off for two solid days. I was triggered by something that hit home in deep psychological shadows, and I should have let it go for my own health. I’m back on track now, though, ready to tackle the weekend with renewed sense of self.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I WANT to go to the gym!! My body has been wanting to move, to lift, to train! I decided that I want to gain strength so that I can rock climb... that's my big "what can I do with this body" goal for now. I want to be a rock climber! I can feel my body responding to diet and craving healthy foods and exercise. It's the BEST FEELING!! It took a whole month and some weeks, but I have crested that hill and am so dang happy that I pushed through to get here!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have been less obsessed with getting to the gym. I ended up overly frustrated and impatient with my kids because they were preventing me from getting to the gym, and all of us would have benefitted from me planning out a morning gym session instead of waiting for relief.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I went to the doctor, and at check in I marked all 0s for days I had felt depressed or hopeless in the past week, for the first time in my LIFE!! I also had blood work done, which came back 100% healthy! Cholesterol, triglycerides, everything is all in excellent shape.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have eaten more vegetables. I had a lot of meat, which was tasty, but it needs to be offset with a majority vegetables.
