  • Pardon the unflattering picture ... can’t run outside cuz of bad air. Have to wear a mask in the gyms (broke the law to take my picture for RunBet 😂) And even indoors the air is pretty Smokey from the doors opening and closing. I may not be sub 7 like our friend David but I was pleased with my sub 10 in these conditions

My weight loss has slowed, as well because I’m getting closer to my goal... but not as close as you Abby! I still have 20 more lbs to lose to reach a healthy BMI. All my fat is in my belly and it is stubborn! I’m losing maybe .5 lb/ week.

Weight loss will ALWAYS slow down when you get close to goal weight. At that point, just losing 1/4 a week would be good.

Picked up 6 pounds celebrating my birthday at the beach. No guilt. I am sure it’s water from the carbs. Not worried. Already got in my 2 mile jog this morning and just purchased a new bike last night. I’m stoked.

I did so great the first 2 rounds and right after the 2nd weigh in I found out I was pregnant. I planned on canceling before the 3rd weigh in but 2 days before I found out the baby’s heart had stopped. It’s been such a hard year, I’ve lost some family members and the thought of another baby had been such a light. Working to find joy again and try to get my diet back from the setback. It was my third miscarriage. I never mind gaining weight for pregnancy, but gaining weight just for heartache is lousy.

  • New month means new goals!!! Let’s crush it! Wish I could share my video of me dying trying to finish 100 jumps but instead here is a collage including a picture of me mid jump for the jump rope challenge and a strawberry protein shake. Enjoy! Also I’m proud to say that I submitted an official weigh in today and I’m under the 10% goal weight. Let’s see how much more I can lose!   • If anyone is interested in doing a challenge with me, this is what I have planned for September.

    You can make it as hard or easy as you want. You can break up the skips throughout the day and even jump without a rope. You can also make it harder by doing one legged jumps or double unders. Whatever you like. Who’s in?

I got an amazing 7 miles hike yesterday. Lots of incline/decline, and my lungs and body were happy. Being at 7800-8500 for expected to be winded, but all the running has prepared me.

Once these wildfires are put out and the smoke goes away, I plan on adding more hikes to my regiment
