I don't blame you about the heat and not wanting to exercise outside or anything! I have HBP and it and the heat don't get along. I see you have a Polar heart rate monitor.... some of us have challenged each other to post a daily picture showing at least a 500 calorie burn just as an extra motivator.....you should join since u have the Polar! =) Keep working hard towards your goals!

Well, that sounds like a great idea, but my Polar recently died, and I haven't investigated it yet! lol. I just got a new fitbit and have been loving that. I've made my new goal to walk at least 12,000 steps a day. Thanks for the encouragement!

Don't get intimidated by spin class. When I do spin on Friday mornings, I am by FAR the youngest (and I'm 40)! The next youngest is in their 60's and the oldest I think is 90. And it's a full on class! You can make it as difficult or easy as you want. You control the resistance and the pedal speed. Try it and I hope your instructor plays good music :-)

Let me know how you do with it. I've been trying to talk my 70 yr old father into trying it. He's like the picture of health, but he's intimidated by it too. Truly, you determine the difficulty level. I think you'll like it. Plus, it can add a little variety to your workouts. Let me know how it goes!

Hello Cowgirl :) I love chile rellenos too. My family and I are already brainstorming how to make them healthier. We're considering cooking in the oven vs frying. :) Have you found a way to enjoy chile rellenos in a healthier way?

There is a Chile relleno casserole that actually really want to try. I need to enter it into the recipe calculator on myfitnesspal to figure out how much healthier t may be. Otherwise, I will jst wait and have on every so ften as a treat.
