Super frustrating, I know!!! Same for me... I rewarded myself yesterday with a big slice of cheesecake for breaking through 210 lbs... and woke up this morning weighing in at 210.6 lbs! How I regret that treat now!!! :D My body has been doing a lot of "nope" to weightloss despite eating small super healthy meals AND exercising. But I am not ready to give up yet - just like you. We will figure this out.

Started the day out going a 60 minute step workout in what was our unused dining room turned gym when covid hit. Felt great. Tonight we are off to a hotel in town. They are offering a locals rate. A normally 600.00 a night room during peak season is 69.00 a night. It will just be nice to sleep on fancy sheets and look at 4 different walls! Happy Saturday everyone.

Hello everyone, I hope this group can help motivate and teach me. I am a repeat WW member and Dietbet partivipant. I have a handle on healthy eating . . follow through can be tough. But, I am totally at a loss with living alone. I am 60 years old and on my own for the first time .
My husband of 40 years passed away in early December only 1 month after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Our 27 year old daughter was killed by a dangerous driver in 2016.
I trust and depend on God, am grateful for each day, blessed with a wonderful son and his family as well as loving supportive extended family and friends, love my work. Im working on a healthier me one day at a time. I am grieving and ok with that.
I look forward to sharing food info, motivation and hopefully some open conversation and giggles.
Lets help each other move forward to whatever our personal success looks like.

  • The only thing on my wish list is for this lockdown to be over so I can get back to the gym. I’ve been keto on/off and DietBet on/off since July and have lost 40 pounds so I’m excited to see where this bet gets me as the holidays really got me in the sweet tooth category.

I happen to love water but I often struggle to drink enough. Here’s what works for me: drink cool, not cold water because: chug it. Every time you pick up your water bottle chug 10 big gulps of water. For me, this equals approximately 2 cups. The cups throughout the day add up fast.

That’s a great idea! I’ll start thinking of 10 gulps every time I drink...
I don’t really have a goal just trying to drink more water. I’ve been tracking my calories on MyFitnessPal and that has an option to add cups of water. I had 5 cups today. Yay! Its like 40 ounces....
I tried sparkling water with lime and liked that! I think I might continue substituting that during dinner.
