Reading everyone’s “why” had me so emotional! I also just want to let everyone know how proud I am of you. The scale won’t budge for me right now either but I’m not going to fret it because 1) I’m doing everything I need to be doing for my health and my body 2) My hormones are all whacked out from stopping nursing. Started my first period since before I was pregnant with Jax and it’s lasting weeks. So I know I’m bloated. But regardless of anything going on I’m still pushing myself and doing the absolute best I can WITHOUT restricting and always remembering this that journey is FOREVER!

I really need some water accountability today to help get rid of this bloat. Let’s do a water post. My goal is 200 oz. I’m at about 80 right now! Comment below and check in the rest of the day. I’ll pick 2 people to win an iron flask of their choice! I chugged a bunch of water with lunch and it really does help keep me so full 🙌????

  • We are getting closer to the end and it’s so crazy to me how fast this went!!!!! Remember EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU should be so dang proud of yourself.

As we are getting closer to the end I want you to keep your “why” in mind. Why are you doing this? What drives you? I want to hear everyone’s “why”

Post here in the comments (or make a separate post) what your “WHY” is. WHY do you want to lose the weight/get healthy? What drives you? My why is always my babies. Losing weight has allowed me to be the absolute best, most active mom that I can be. And that means the world. I wanted to be healthy, but I also wanted to be happy. Keep your why close by. Whenever you feel discouraged always think of WHY you started in the first place.

I will be picking 2 people to each win $50 PayPal cash 💘

Y’all today is my birthday and I am excited! I know it’s close to the end, but I love my birthday so I am going to let myself splurge today while focusing on my water intake and keeping my body moving! Hopefully that will be the balance I need.

I start school for something I’m super passionate about tomorrow. My anxiety about starting something new is completely through the roof, I’m not one that usually panics with new things but for some reason this new adventure is sending me into crisis mode. I will only be in my house daily for a few hours early afternoon. The way my work schedule is set up I need to be out of my house by 1:15 the latest go to work for a few hours, class starts at 5 and doesnt end till 9:30. I live over an hour away so I won’t be getting home till close to 11pm to then get back up the next morning at 6:30 for work. I’m stressing about how and what I will eat, with covid im unsure if they’ll have a microwave or something for us to utilize to heat things up. Or if we’ll even have time for a “dinner break” When I’ll have time to be active and get my body moving for a bit with the homework I’ll need to be doing when I am home for a few hours in the morning. I am excited and I’ve been wanting to take this journey for many years and now that the opportunity is finally here I feel like I’m getting a bit of cold feet. Praying after the first day things simmer down a bit and a routine takes place. Giving up is not an option

Wow! That's a lot, but you can slay it! Praying for an amazing first day. What an accomplishment to be starting this chapter!

Mandolin B.

You can do this!
I've been packing a cooler every day for work since May. I just bring cold things like pinwheels, salads, yogurt etc... or like KlammJam said, a thermos is a great idea for hot food!

    1 Trader Joe’s andouille chicken sausage(4sp)
1 cup Trader Joe’s Shaved Brussel Sprouts (0sp)

Uh... just feeling so down today! I have to lost 9lb total to “win” this diet bet and last month I lost over 10lb. So, I figured it was way doable. This month, it doesn’t seem like they’re coming off easily.

I keep fluctuating between a 2-3lb loss for the entire month currently and the only thing that I’ve changed is that I’m actually working out 30 minutes 3-4times a week, which I thought would help me lose even more!

Just feeling so defeated and still have 6lb to lose by the end of the month. Just trying to stay focused and motivated, but it’s so hard mentally some days.

Salsa Chicken — can the salsa actually be tasted once the chicken is cooked? I’ve never been a fan of the jarred salsa 😖 but I’ve been wanting to try the recipe for so long since it can be added to so many foods.

Make your own salsa! It’s so so easy and so so good! I make my own all the time

Nini ?.

If you don't like the taste of salsa, try a different way of seasoning. I'm going to try a jerk seasoning today for the first time, lol, and pair it with sugar free mango jalapeno bbq sauce. We'll see how it goes, maybe I'll report back

  • So if you were in my previous DietBet you’ll remember when I talked about starting to think about your “reward” for finishing this game! Yes, I said finishing, not winning. Remember that no matter how much you loose, no matter if you hit the 4 week goal, you are still a winner. You joined. You challenged yourself. You hopefully made yourself better physically and mentally.

So when the game is over, I know a lot of people like to celebrate with food! Which is A OK WITH ME!!!! In moderation of course! Enjoy and move on!!! But I would love to encourage some non food related rewards as well! When this game is over I do NOT want you to think “ah I’m done! Free for all!!!!!” And go back to old habits . I want you to start finding other ways to treat yourself.

    A new workout outfit
    New shoes
A new piece to your wardrobe
    Nail day
    New hair style
    Apple Watch/ fit bit

Comment below a non food related reward youre planning for yourself! I will pick 4 winners to give $50 PayPal cash to go towards that!💓

  • I was so excited to be posting everyday in this challenge and when I signed up I was so excited for this journey. Then October 2 I found out I was expecting and I was shocked I was happy this baby would be our rainbow baby but sadly. Saturday 10th I ended up in the hospital for spotting but they said it could be normal so come back if worse.
Well Wednesday I spent all day in the hospital things increased and in the hospital bed I ended up miscarrying our baby. I don’t want any other woman to go through this. Every miscarriage is different and hurts every time.
So I’m slowly getting back to eating and the working out will be the one that’s going to be a bit I’m still on restrictions so when I can I’m going to slowly but get back into getting workouts done.

Those who are on WW, specifically the 💙 plan. What are you opinions on eating out, tracking everything, and staying with in your point limit? Did you have trouble losing weight? Did you feel bloated or sluggish?

This weekend we are going out a couple times with friends and family to celebrate my husband's birthday. I want to be able to enjoy the food to an extent and still stay with in my point value for the day. I have lost 74% of my goal this far and I don't want to lose momentum. Thanks for any opinions and advise.

Also would appreciate any tips and tricks if eating out multiple times is not a great idea, like should I eat before we go? Thanks!

I typically also ask for a smaller plate side. Portion out what I will eat during that sitting and box up the rest to take home with me

Leah S

My best advice is just because you have a “cheat meal” doesn’t mean you need to have an entire “cheat day”. Also, make healthy substitutions where you can. I LOVE burgers and will order a burger if that’s what I want, but I’ll swap the side for fruit or a salad. Also remember that you don’t have to eat it all! Cut it in half right away and then take the leftovers to go. Also, I track everything, even if it means not getting a blue dot. I like to be able to look back and say “okay, why did I or did I not lose this week? How can I make adjustments? What did I do right or where could I improve?”

Ultimately it’s about finding what works for you! It’s a lot of trial and error, and everyone’s body is different. Best of luck on your journey.
