  • VERY VULNERABLE PIC!!! These are before and after pics of me last year. First pic I was pushing 300 pounds. I was completely defeated. We had a new born the year before and he had a couple hospital stays that were asthma related. After his second stay I made the decision to give the gym a break for the rest of the year. I had no business being away from my family for an extra hour or more when they needed me home. Where I messed up was I allowed my eating habits to take a backseat as well. Not only was I not going to the gym but I was also eating and drinking whatever I wanted. I couldn’t believe what I had allowed myself to become. I’ve always been an active guy since an early age. Always a big gym freak. It was depressing and I knew I had to make a change. My wife told me about this app and how it’s helped mothers she knew lose their baby weight. I did my first kickstarter and I’ve been hooked ever since. 5 hard months of work and diet resulted in the second pic which is me at 230 pounds. I maintained that 230 all the way up until December where I added 10 pounds which was to be expected. But now here I am back to my preferred weight and I feel great! I look at this pic whenever i start to have doubts. I remember what I felt like at 300 pounds and i remember how hard it was to lose the weight and get back into shape. I hope this pic helps anyone out there that thinks all there hard work is for nothing. IT WILL PAY OFF. IT WILL BE HARD BUT THE END RESULT WILL BE WORTH IT. Ps do not mind the second pic. I was feeling myself a bit much 😂 and also if for whatever reason this pic makes anyone uncomfortable please lmk and I was delete it immediately

ok, so this game ends March 3rd, I have not made any progress so far. I have not been very focused on making the necessary changes that I need to make in order to see results. So far, I am just hoping to see results but not working to see results. This changes today. Can you guys please share with me your inspiration for making healthy changes during this challenge and the changes you are making to see results?

You've done this before... so that means you can again and you already know how much better you feel when you start. I have done this before too. Find it hard to believe I did this to myself again. We can do it again. I don't want to die fat.

I have made it a habit to drink a lot of water everyday and I have noticed it makes a big difference. I struggle on the weekends with drinking water because I’m at home (which should be easier but I forget) and at work I take my water so I already know I have to finish it before the end of my shift. I have also cut off rice completely we use to eat rice everyday with dinner so now I just cook it for my family but I replace mine with beans, corn or green beans. I have been obsessed with tuna salad lately, mine is simply I use the iceberg lettuce, tuna, corn and sometimes I add a little mayo (not too much because mayo has a lot of calories) :grimacing: but I’ve always been simple I could eat the same thing for days and don’t get tired of it, my husband is a different story lol
I love turkey ground meat too!
You should also meal prep on Sundays for the week that way you have your week planned out and don’t have to think of what to eat everyday (when you have a plan everything is easier and you won’t rely on fast food) I haven’t worked out which I really should start but I’ve noticed this change to my eating habits has really helped me lose weight. The water is really important I don’t drink anything else, in the morning I have my coffee with 1 tablespoon of creamer and collagen but through out the day only water. Best wishes to you I know you could do it! Be persistent and have faith in yourself :heart:

  • This!!!! Is one of the best breakfasts I have ever had 😁???? dip banana slices in batter so they're coated on both sides and then fry them (same as you usually would do pancakes)...the banana will be all warm and it will just melt in your mouth 👌
