Got the yard pushed mowed (I would rather push than ride), other yard work done, got 65 shirts made for my side hustle, cut up all my fruits and veggies for the week, meal prepped breakfast and lunches, and walked the pup.

I think I had a productive sunday and its not over yet=)

Down a few pounds this week.

Feeling good starting the week off right=)

I was humbled yesterday. I tried on a pair of shorts that fit super well last summer and they were so snug. I had regained about 15 pounds over the fall/winter. And for some reason, even though I feel I'm doing all the same things, it's moving like molasses.

I am noticing when very stressful things happen my brain immediately tells me I need junk food. I'm working on this. I woke up tired this morning but I'm going to get dressed and go to the gym anyways. It's crucial for me to move my body and get some 🚶‍♀️ steps.

I had so many revelations reading a book called, "Life is hard, food is easy." It's about controlling emotional eating and figuring out why you do it. It's pretty much the reason I discovered 'why' I drank alcohol. Now I rarely ever have any. Because I don't 'need' it.

I need help. I have a family of six. Four kids from 10 to 19. I hate making suppers. Any ideas? They hardly eat, some are picky, my youngest is disabled so suppers are tricky on what he can eat. My husband will eat anything. Im always drained and exhausted by the time supper comes and have zero energy to make it.

I like to prep for the week because I dont like cooking after a long day either! Yalda had suggested letting the kids help. That might make them branch out a little more if they are helping cook it. =)

I like to use my crock pot for my meals. My family’s favorite is roast beef with potatoes, green beans and carrots. I can prepare it in 10 minutes before work. Just put raw veggies in the bottom and then place roast beef on top. Add a can of cream of mushroom soup and a tablespoon of dried onion and half cup of water. Cook on low for 8 to 9 hours. It is such a treat to have dinner all ready when you come home from work!

I lost my mother yesterday. She was a terminal cancer patient. Working to distract myself. Today was a walk in the nearby park, Illinois Has gorgeous summer weather today. Feeling peaceful today.

I am here to at the least try to control something. My current job is suffering from a hostile takeover which is nuts and so toxic, I have child custody battles ongoing, and things are just... So I figured, at the least I can fix myself up a bit, if nothing else.
