My Dr suggested doubling up on protein for weight loss to aim for 90-100g protein per day-any ideas for high protein items or shakes/bars?

  • I make a really good protein muffin for lunch everyday. I change the flavors and the add dark chocolate. It's a combo of 20g flour 15 g coconut flour each. I have tweaked the mix several times to get the best texture.

  • Bake at 350 for about 30-35 min. I make 6 at a time in silicone molds they are the size of little mini loafs. This one it my favorite, but I also love the raspberry white chocolate coconut

Yalda, I hate you have stayed sick thos go around.i hope you feel better soon! I started this diet bet hoping I would be as motivated as last year's diet bets but I am not doing well at all with tracking, moving. I am just having the hardest time gettig back into it. =/

Good noise is the worst! I’ve found that intermittent fasting has helped a lot in the past. Gives your brain time to get rid of the fog, and your body time to use the energy it has stored. Hope that helps:heartpulse:

Happy friday! Today is a hard day of eating healthy. I work at a daycare and today we are celebrating valentines day. The parents bring lots of goodies for the teachers and it's so hard to say no! So today I say enjoy the treats and start fresh tomorrow =)

Thats right! I feel like restricting yourself on those special days only makes you want to eat it worse and then for me...i end up binge eating everything else because I wanted the candy, cookie or whatever it may be so I say just eat it! Then start fresh
