Woohoo, we did it!
I weighed myself Saturday and was just at my goal, but then I realized I didn’t have my phone in hand.
I’m glad we didn’t have Valentine’s Day plans, so I could just focus!
This was as tough one for me. I joined this 1/2 way through another DB game, so essentially it was a 6 week challenge for me.
I’m perimenopausal, and know that I can’t worry about a number. I think, more importantly for me, I need recomposition: lose fat(not necessarily weight) while I build some muscle.
It was a great time to dial it back in!

I made weight comfortably before breakfast and I hope you are all happy with your results. I am noticing progress, but it isn't from only this game. I am at month three of a Transformer, and I think I will need to do a second Transformer after this. So hopefully I will be around for nine more months. It's nice to have these games to stay on the ball!

I'm a few pounds away from my goal.. it's time for mother nature to visit and I always hold extra water weight for a few weeks. I've upped my fiber intake and water intake to hopefully push these few pounds away lol.

  • You’re welcome! Choose light foods with high water content/low residue.
    Cardio will help you sweat out water weight, and some movement will help your digestive system get moving too.
    If you tend to retain water from heavy weight lifting days, I’d hold off on those. You can walk , do yoga/pilates, stretching. Anything rigorous that your body has to recover from will hold onto inflammation.

I still watch my iPad or use my phone which isn’t good, but I set my phone on sleep mode from 10:30pm -7am. I’m a light sleeper so sounds easily wake me.

Just a little over a week left! I hope everybody is on track to make their goals.

I started two Kickstarters on January 1st and then joined this one after losing quite a bit. I can definitely see my weight loss has slowed. I'm only 1.8 pounds away from this game's goal. It's doable, but given how slow my weight has been dropping the last 2 weeks, I'm a little worried. It's time to buckle down and finish this bet with good choices! How are you all doing?

Focus on low to no sodium, very low carbs. Carbs hold onto 3-4 times their weight in water. Sodium retains water too. Lots of water to flush things out.
Those things help me the most, especially the last few days.
Also, maybe TMI, but if you aren’t regular, whatever you eat and don’t digest/void is weight, so a BM before weighing out can help too.
A good sweat session is helpful as well.
