Meditation is a good idea!

I joined 3 different step challenges to hold myself accountable. I don’t like walking but I know it’s good for fat loss

Got to the gym on Sunday with my sister! Going to start going together a little more to get some cardio in and hang!

I was actually very proud of myself and my choices over the weekend. We were at my son’s hockey tournament in Wisconsin Dells. I packed plenty of healthy snacks and utilized them so that I wasn’t starving and tempted to go overboard whenever we did sit down to eat. I ate a few more fried items & had a couple drinks that I wouldn’t normally have, but I also got my movement in each day and don’t feel bad at all. I enjoyed what I wanted to enjoy and left out the guilt and the bloat!

  • I did a weekly weigh in and am down 1.2 from last week. My goal is to lose 5.9 lbs for the game. Today’s challenge will be watching my portions at Olive Garden. My parents want to go there. I’m thinking Margarita chicken with broccoli for my lunch and ask for a salad with dressing on the side. No breadstick (that will not be a temptation for me anyway). Any other advice? I only see the Margarita chicken as the healthier option, which makes me sad.

Yeah, I’ll skip the cheese and croutons too. I’m not a big fan of those, so I’ve always picked croutons off, and even on an everyday basis when I’m not trying to cut, I ask for any cheese to be left off. Cheese on salads just isn’t for me.

I think they also have a salmon option.

  • Its not really an "omelet" per se... it kept wanting to stick to the pan, but its hearty and full of veggies! Loving the recipes and meal prep, Joel! 🙌

Mine often end in a scramble, but same concept and yummy!

I used to add a bit of the Fairlife protein drinks but now those aren’t considered that healthy either. Depends on you, but it’s still better than other things

Heavy whipping cream (not whipped cream) and cinnamon. It gives the coffee a latte type flavor without the carbs. The fat in the cream provides sustained energy and the cinnamon helps control blood sugar.
