Welcome to Weigh to Go! We have a really active group! We are just getting ready to start a "Sticker Challenge" for March. The directions are posted on the wall. But even if you don't sticker, stay close and post often...we're glad you're here!

Thanks Brenda - I need an active group. I seem to be getting very lax in my maintenance right now. I'm glad I'm here too!

Good Morning! Not sure if I mentioned this to you or if you are interested but, there is a Spring into Fitbit that starts today - hostess is Amy and it is $10.00. It is a wonderful group and it is fantastic in terms of support if nothing else - good active group. Would love to have you join us. DB4.

Your board is looking wonderful! Will you celebrate Thanksgiving? Have a healthy one:) No guinea - or, I don't know, can you get turkey?

Thanks! We are celebrating but not quite as big since it's a normal workday here. We can get turkeys, but they're quite small. My husband calls them chickens on steroids. You have a healthy one too!

I have been to the Middle East - we live in Southern Louisiana so the air gets sucked out of you here differently that in Saudi. Are you there as a US citizen or a national? Anyway, I am looking pretty good in Transformer and so sold on Shaun T's that I am PRAYING he will do another. In the meantime, I will toast you with a martini during the Saint's game today and remember that simple things are missed when not easily available! You can do this - I agree that, even when I don't make goal - the community keeps me focused and moving forward!

Hi Les, I'm living here as a US citizen (expats are what they call us) and so glad that I can leave when I want. I agree with you on Shaun T's DietBet - he's a fabulous host. I've had other DietBets where the host is hardly heard from. I hope he continues doing these too, although I'm afraid he may get overwhelmed at times with all the people. I think he reads each comment. Keep up your positive vibe - you have the gift of encouragement.

Lisa G

Oh, and thanks for having that martini toast - that's definitely something I miss in this "dry" country.

Hi LIsa! Your board is looking good:) I don't know what is going on with me but certainly not the downward trend I expected. I do acknowledge I have not given up my daily martini but I have given up a lot - had an immediate show of loss on first 2 DB's and on my transformers but not going to make it on Jillian's and didn't make the other one that ended a few days ago. I hate to blame age or anything else - I just think I haven't quite figured out what is right for me! How is it going for you?

Lisa G

Hi Les, I, too, am not going down as fast as I'd like. My first two diet bets went well, but my third and 1 part of Transformer I didn't make it - probably because I went on two vacations in one month and had too many martinis! I live in Saudi Arabia which is a dry country so when we get out of the country, we definitely enjoy some real drink (much better than the homemade muck we sneak here). Anyway, I've got 2.5 pounds to go in 7 days, so I'm not real hopeful on winning this round of the Transformer either. But I do appreciate the way the DietBet has kept me focused on living a better lifestyle than just work and sitting on the couch. Oh, and I'm blaming age because this menopause thing is doing all sorts of whacky things with my body.

Please go ahead and add me Lisa G. I added you:) This morning was a bummer loss but I knew it was likely coming. I can give up the sugar but giving up the toasts, as it were, is not something I have done so.....................just have to acknowledge those are choices. I am considering joining another DB4 but would actually rather a 10 - they work better for me. How about you?

Lisa G

Hi Les, yes, I went and joined another DB4. The Eat, Drink & Be Skinny Holidays Pt 1. I agree, the 10s are at a much more reachable level when trying to lose the weight for longer periods. This one looked like the host will be active, so I went ahead and joined it too.

We'll help each other get through Christmas without overeating to many sinful goodies. I'm having a hard time in my second month of Transformer. Vacation gets in the way. To many temptations.

Yay!! How's things going? I see you joined the Transformer. Good Luck!!

Lisa G

Yep, I joined and will have to go through Christmas with this, but I want to look good at Chris' wedding (those photos tend to stick around for a long time). I can't believe I gained everything back from the last dietBet. Hopefully, the 6-monther will work better for me.
