I have been using MyFitnessPal for three weeks now and the last 2 days I have really started using MyFitnessPal to as a tool to PLAN my food for the next day so I make it easier to have control over MY goals - proactive versus reactive. Also, started NOT using my exercise "reward" food this week ;)

Just saw the surgery thing, good luck my friend! Your health is most important, you can always grab life by the horns when you are better. Be well !

Meg

Thank you! The first attack happened I think the night before we last spoke, so my life has been a complete whirlwind with ER visits, doctors fitting me in to urgent appointments, working every day, all while barely being able to eat, and constant pain and nausea + sickness. The minute the gallbladder was out, all those things stopped completely. I feel so lucky that hell is over.

You're welcome. Glad you are well on the road to recovery.

Good luck in the 4- week challenge with Heidi and Chris Powell. I'm in that one too.

Oh, how GREAT! I've added you as a friend so we can keep in touch. This will be a fun one! :)

Well, now I use these shortcuts, and I can log an entire day in 2 minutes or less, not to mention it's FUN. Over the last 30 days, I've found some new friends (in fact, 3 from our Challenge!) - and it's like Facebook in terms of posting a status or asking a question, except it's about fitness, and weight loss. If you want to give it a try, my user name is Findingmeg - the same icon picture. :) THAT is where I have found constant, and I mean hourly motivation and support.

Hell YES, lets do it togethaaa! WAHOOOO!!!!

And I'm on my fitness pal too, but its too much work, and I know it's easy. That's why I love slow carb, the rules are so simple. No math!

Hi Meghan! I answered you on my wall but wanted to make sure you saw it:

When you join a game, 2 days before it starts you do a set of weigh-in photos (one full-body, one with the scale readout) using their instructions. Then the game runs for 28 days. At the end of that time, you have 2 days to do the weigh-out photos just like what you did when you began the game.

If you lost 4% of your body weight during that time, you're a winner! DietBet takes their share off the top and then the winners split the pot with the other winners.

Meg

Thanks so much, Aaron. I love this concept, and wonder how I haven't heard of it before. I'm using MyFitnessPal to manage my caloric intake. I didn't know of it, either. Awesome, how far technology has come. I'm very excited about this motivation tool. Thanks so much!!!
