Congratz!!!!!!! I am proud to know that you understand the importance of preparation/ planning ahead.
The hours per day remain the same (that's for sure)
we have to plan for the things we know will happen (i.e....the to do list) and the unknown (i.e....staying late for work) to be accomplished in those 24 hours.
