  • Day 5: Weekends are busy for me with family stuff so I don't usually get much done. I'm usually low on battery by the time the kid goes down for his nap. So, I usually nap too. All that said, although I didn't get to the gym I did stay on track with my nutrition goals. I'll find a way to get to the gym tomorrow.

(Also, I am totally in love with Natures Path keto cereal. It's the first keto cereal I've found that actually tastes and feels like real cereal. I love it with half a banana and soy milk.)

    Today's healthy habits:
    *Tracked food
    *Stayed on calorie target
    *Ate a good breakfast
    *Journaled my gratitude
*Checked in with my DietBet group
*Did research about writing a book

I’ll have to try the cereal. I’ve had some truly disgusting ones before

Love your focus on what you did well! It's easy to beat ourselves up for what we didn't achieve, but it's so much more helpful to stay positive. I'm going to add my own daily list of good habits to my journal entries - thanks for the inspiration!

So any thoughts about what might help? I had to freeze my gym stuff because my doctor want to check some stuff out and she told me light exercise and light weights. I feel a little lost and being that it’s starting to get cold here in NJ and I don’t have sidewalks in my neighborhood I’m a little confuzzled as to what to do to keep moving. I’ve had set a resolution to walk 10000 steps a day but it’s very hard working a desk job. I try taking walk breaks but still…. Thoughts?

A walking pad! There are some cheaper options out there (I just googled and found one for $46! How long it’ll last/quality idk but for that little might be worth it!) or you could look at the under the desk pedals for low impact cardio and to keep moving.

I work from home and have a standing desk but added a walking pad late last year. It's not a real treadmill and can easily be rolled out of the way or leaned against a wall. It is quiet enough that I can walk while being on a call. I can also do light work while using it. I move it out of the way and sit down while doing serious work. I walk slow while working but get about 2+ miles an hour according to my Garmin.
