  • I didn't make goal unfortunately.....between sick kids, woman issues and stress I struggled nutritionally the final week especially. But my workouts have been Awesome!

What happened to using the same weigh in for two different games closing at the same time? The weigh in process is such a hassle.


I feel ya. It can be so hit and miss. I think the other weight for a different game has to be fully verified and then you can use it for another game that ends at the same time. But if that’s what you already did then… it’s just one of this (hit and) miss times. Sorry!

    *IT’S THE LAST DAY OF OUR GAME!! What the ever-living flipping-cow, how did that happen?? This all happened so fast! If you follow Stuart and/or me, you know that this is the last game we intend to host indefinitely.

    We are planning on starting up a fertility treatment in the next couple months and I want to spend my time and energy focusing on that.

    Thank you SO MUCH for being a part of our game! There are so many different hosts and games out there so it means so much that you were here with our group. Thank you for the engagement and encouragement you gave to everyone.

    As you know, getting your health in order is not an all or nothing game – it’s a lifestyle change, and progress is progress. If you hit your goal, I am giving you a huge high-five from Utah, and if you didn’t hit your goal but you worked hard this month, well then, I am also giving you a huge high-five from Utah! I hope you learned something from my posts, and/or from someone else in this game, and/or from your efforts this month (maybe something about your strengths and weaknesses). Working on your health is never easy, but it’s always worth it!

  • Have you ever heard of ZOATS (zucchini oats)? Instead of just making oatmeal, you’ll throw in some shredded zucchini to add nutrients and volume to your meal (to help fill you up with more fiber to keep you fuller longer, without adding calories). Some people will do COATS (cauliflower oats). I’ve done both and like both options!
    You may taste it a teeny bit, but things like that don’t bother me and I think it’s an awesome way to sneak veggies into your day (especially for breakfast). If you search ZOATS on Instagram, tons of ideas will pop up, but here is an idea of what to do.

    •3/4 cup (60g) oats
    • ¾ cup (200 ml) almond milk
    •1 scoop vanilla protein powder
    •1/2 cup (100g) zucchini
    •pinch of salt
    •optional toppings: blueberries, blackberries, peanut butter, yogurt, spices, etc

    *Grate the zucchini while the oats cook with milk + pinch of salt until it’s getting thicker, add grated zucchini and cook for a few more minutes, add some more liquid if needed.
    *Let cool down a bit, add whey and top with things of your choice - this combo is definitely a big recommendation.

  • This is for you, Sue R. I resisted espresso brownies, dark chocolate chip and walnut bars, milk chocolate and coconut bars, and my dripping lemon cake (that I fed to Kevin Costner years ago...) Also at the restaurant I had my choice of a chocolate flourless, key lime pie, blueberry cheesecake with pecan crust, and carrot cake. Not one crumb passed these lips. Can I get an "Amen"?!

I’ve been doing a little mini salad with all my meals along with a veg to up that veggie intake even more. I just chop red onion, tomato, cucumber and lettuce up and dress with salt pepper lemon juice and olive oil. I was also craving bolognaise the other day but had no spaghetti. Ended up stuffing some poblano peppers with bolognaise and topping with a little cheese. Would highly recommend!
