I know exactly how you feel! The problem with sugar is that once you eat it, your body just wants more! I've learned the trick to eating something sweet is to pair it with something that has a lot of fat (like cream, nuts, peanutbutter or cheese). This slows the digestion and makes the treat more satisfying. So if I'm having strawberries, I top with with whipped heavy cream (no sugar in the cream) or if I'm having a peice of chocolate bar, I add a dollar of organic (no sugar peanutbutter. But the latter is a very occasional treat. Try sticking with low sugar berries--and then only with a high fat counter part. It will change your life!
