  • So how was your day?
    Mine went like this.

    I went walking this morning, my breakfast was great, untiiiillll lunchtime oh my this went so bad.
    I thought I would skip dinner for the heavy lunch I had, but I'm feeling hungry.
    I'm thinking about having a wrap or go to bed hungry ????

Realistically I’m not making it this time. But, I have gotten back into recording calories, portioning by weight, and trying to drink more water. It’s a nsv but I’ll take it! When we began this challenge I initially gained a few pounds, the heaviest I’ve EVER been. This past week I dropped 5 lbs. I’ll keep on keeping on and hopefully next challenge I’ll be on track! I weigh every day but i focus on my 7 day weekly average and don't worry about the daily fluctuations. (I use my Fitbit app for the average)

Small victories!!!
I heard today a podcast that mentioned small victories. Sometimes when we’re focused on the big picture, we forget about the small victories
 for the next 21 days write down three things each day that you did right or that you’re proud of. Just 3 things daily. By the end of the week you’ll have 21 small victories. By the end of this contest think how many wins you will have!!

Eating right
Going for a walk
Completely an assignment
Washing your car

  • Great idea! Mine are:
    - Went on a 3 mile hike near Joshua Tree out to 49 Palms Oasis wherein I burned 846 calories and saw some beautiful things
    - Had a tasty Greek salad with gyro (treat and still on plan)
    - Enjoyed a coop art gallery and bought some beauties to take home with us!
