I had the same feelings last night. After an evening of big dinner - bacon, cheese, apple crisp, just lots of calories - I felt irritable and sluggish. Today as I was walking I thought, "I just can't do that anymore. It's not worth it." While I can't promise never to repeat that eating performance, the longer I have good eating days in the bank, the less often I feel the pull to overindulge. Don't beat yourself up. Recognize that you are on a journey, and you have time to correct your thinking. Patience is tough, I know. It will get better if you keep making mostly good choices!
