I ate pretty well and stuck to my intermittent fasting. I could have gone to the gym more and not eating poorly on Tuesday when I was so stressed at work.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I've started to focus more on performance goals instead of physique goals and I have noticed that I am much happier when I workout. I am not working out to be a certain size, I am working out so I can have the core strength to do a handstand, and the upper body strength to do a pull up. I feel a complete shift in my perspective, and it has totally change my view of myself and my relationship with my body and my fitness abilities.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I have been eating clean, but still I've been eating too much. I have been eating at work as well, which is a no no. I plan to meal prep more this week, and have more healthy snacks on hand so that I don't fall in to temptation.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

I am focusing on gut health this week. The plan is lots of lemon/lime water with apple cider vinegar, easily digestible clean foods, probiotics as well as prebiotics, and staying away from all sugars and starches. I'm going to reset my gut and tastebuds back to craving healthier foods again. I also want to up my workout consistency. My cardio game is already strong. I've fallen in love with a cycle studio near work and have been going 3-5 times per week. The problem is that I haven't been lifting quite as much. I want to find a better balance of cycle and lifting where I get my cycle fix each week but I also have enough energy to make it to the gym 2-3 days per week.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I ate healthy most of the week. I had a few meals that weren’t on my show carb diet but I stuck to it more often than not. I didn’t workout because of my cold but I did stay active at work.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have stuck to my diet even when I was stresssed out. I could have gone to the gym at least once or twice.
