Swimming would be great for you, it's so easy on the joints. If not just take long walks going at a pace that challenges you but doesn't pain you. Good luck!

Improving your quad, hip, and core strength would be helpful. Also really stretch out your hamstrings, calves, & quads.Sometimes if squats or lunges are rough make sure to watch your body mechanics, make sure your hip, knee & ankle are aligned and your weight is your heels, Making sure your knee stays directly above your ankle. If this is a serious issue, you should consider getting a prescription for Physical Therapy. They could teach you some tips and tricks. Don't let this go on much longer.
