This hits so close to home for me. I've basically been around my highest weight for a solid ten years except for one pretty good run at losing weight back in 2012. I got my lowest weight to just above my own equally elusive number. I hovered about a pound above it and almost reached it. BUT, I lost the weight primarily by working out and didn't change my diet much. By the time the busy holiday season came around, I didn't have the time to work out as much and I never learned how to eat healthfully. I'd skip a workout/binge and feel terrible about my failure, so I'd binge to make myself feel better. By 2013, I'd gained back all the weight plus an extra five pounds. After that I'd gain and lose that same five pounds without getting to the next 9's. When I found DietBet, I'd finally gotten it in my head to work on both my eating and my working out in moderation with a compassionate mindset. I'd already lost that 5 pounds, but that first kickstarter is what got me to the next 9's. And, then the next set, and now, I finally reached my elusive number. I'm where I never thought that I'd be when I first started. I am so grateful to have found not only these games, but the community that comes with them.
