Not sure if this is the right place to respond to your question but I'd pick weights over cardio especially if you can do short bursts if really intense-to-failure sets.

I ended up going in before the spin class and do 20 minutes of weighted lunges, squats, lunges with longshoreman ropes, burpees, box jumps, and push ups. Then 40 mins of spin. Feeling good!!
