C'mon Tesaen! It's gonna be a squeaker for both of us, this round. For me, it's nip-and-tuck for my January-July DietBet10, and I'm striving to be PERFECT on my eating, 'cause I strained my back and had to curtail my workouts. YIKES!!! Pull it in, so I can live vicariously through your success, if I don't make it myself, ok? :D

OK!!! It's AFTER CHRISTMAS!!! We can now FOCUS ON OURSELVES AND DO WHAT WE NEED TO DO (dammit). Yep, I'm re-committing and re-focusing and returning to healthy ways after indulging a little too much for Christmas. It's time to turn that page ... HELP ME DO IT. I need a little encouragement, today ...

DIETING TECHNICAL TIP: Don't forget that *as you lose weight, the amount you should be eating each day DIMINISHES." If you are using MyFitnessPal or a similar tool, RECALCULATE YOUR CALORIC INTAKE GOAL from time to time -- at least every 10 pounds or so. This can be CRITICAL as an element of 'plateauing.'I just re-calculated mine, and the new goal number was almost 100 calories less per day!

Thank you for your kind words. Motivation is up and down, but most days I find that I just get up and head down to the basement and get on the treadmill and just get it done. People have been very supportive here on DietBet and that helps a lot. You are doing awesome, be kind to yourself, sometime we take a step back, but then maybe in a few days we take a few steps forward. It is all about little steps. You can message me anytime you want if you need an xtra little push. I am rooting for you!!!!

Thank you, Tesaen for your comment on my cheerboard! You truly are an inspiration and you've done an amazing job this dietbet! I'm sure you'll reach your goal in no time!

And I see that your favorite sinful food is baked mac and cheese. Oh MY. Same here. ;) It's really good if you replace the cream with homemade cashew cream (just cashews soaked in water overnight, then blended the next day) and use brown rice pasta. Less of a guilt trip, but I think it tastes even better. :D
