Does anyone have suggestions on how to incorporate protein supplements into things that aren't super sweet? All of the bars and shakes have tried are not appealing to me because of how sweet/artificial they taste.

I love premier protein shakes. I don’t think they are super sweet or artificial tasting.


I really like Nakedwhey unflavored protein. I haven't made this in awhile, and it's not low cal, but i like it with whole milk, peanut butter, banana, and cocoa powder.

Hey everyone! I'm curious, if you all feel like sharing, what everyone's motivation is for getting fitter?

I'll start! I'm super geeky. So, my motivation is to do cute cosplay at conventions without feeling self-conscious. I know people say "do it anyway!", but that's just not me. I wouldn't be comfortable right now.

I want to travel. And I want to be able to sit in a seat on a plane and not feel horrible about how much room I take up, and worry about seat extenders.

  • Sometimes I feel so jealous of skinny people. If I was skinny life would be easy, right? A customer at my job the other day said she was going home to do all her 'meal prep' for the week... maybe even the skinnies need to work at it?
    I though maybe I owe it to myself to do some meal prep...?
    Ta da! Veggy soup for lunches. Did it whilst doing dinner last night, barely any extra effort :) feeling proud of myself!

I think after a certain age your metabolism goes to crap. Skinny people have to work at it. Some make it look easy but at my age everyone I know is working out or calorie counting. My boss is crazy thin but she uses MFP and documents everything she eats so she knows she is at calorie goal. I think she just got smarter and did it before I got a clue.

Hello everyone! Our game officially just started and im excited to finish 2019 with our tribe! For those of you who may not know me my name is Lexi (fatgirlfedup). I joined my first dietbet in 2016 and it helped me to lose 312lbs in two years with diet/exercise. No meal plan, surgery, personal trainer, but just counting my calories, focusing on my diet with 30-60 mins of exercise 5x a week in the beginning. Here's a few things to get started:
- Welcome to our tribe! Together we are losing pounds and have become a tribe full of love, encouragement, and support! It brings me great joy to host and I love being part of such a positive weight loss space. We will have others joining us for 14 days so be sure to invite friends,family, and coworkers. You may literally save their life just by getting them to join in on the fun!
- Diet is key! I use myfitnesspal to track all the food i'm eating and it helped me learn about nutrition labels, log my water/workouts, and showed me my progress!
- MOVE! Try to get atleast 30 minutes of exercise 4-5x a week even if it's just walking. Every step adds up! I started with the elliptical 5x a week in the beginning as I was 485lbs and it helped me to not kill my knees. Start where you can and just focus on moving daily.
- WATER is your best friend! I aim to drink a gallon a day. Water helps to keep you full, boost your metabolism, and can even help your skin while loosing weight!

- PICTURES. Sometimes the scale doesn't tell the full story so be sure to take ALL the before pictures. I promise you WILL want them and we can't wait to see your transformation!

Hi there Lexi. So today on Instagram I asked you if you were planning on interacting a bit more, and you deleted my comment which I felt was really uncalled for. So then I DMed you asking the same thing and you replied that you would be posting more. But you also had deleted my comment asking why my orginal comment had been deleted and could you read my DM. Why is this? I said nothing wrong at all, I am just slightly disappointed with the lack of interacting, and when you have- it's been stuff we can see for free. Players here- you rock and you are amazing thank you for your comments, but I think I'm going to leave, if I lose I will feel pretty sad to have given money to someone who isn't playing this DB and who isn't providing us with more motivation.
