I am in Seattle with near 0 temp. I still pushed my self to get up and jog 5kms today..it was freezing... Being a vegan i am only eating salad and baked potato, juice since last week and plan to keep it that way thru out next 2 weeks. should see at least another 5 pounds falling off. You keep the momentum going . Cheers !!

You too! Speaking as someone with cold-air-triggered asthma, may I suggest protecting your lungs from that 0-degree weather with a face mask? (I can suggest the one I wear skiing /snowshoeing here in the Colorado mtns.) That just ain't good for ANYbody! ;} (Yowza.) You are made of steely stuff, man.

OK!!! It's AFTER CHRISTMAS!!! We can now FOCUS ON OURSELVES AND DO WHAT WE NEED TO DO (dammit). Yep, I'm re-committing and re-focusing and returning to healthy ways after indulging a little too much for Christmas. It's time to turn that page ... HELP ME DO IT. I need a little encouragement, today ...

Cool! Yes, I'm back at it! Have to go hot and heavy this week to make my PERSONAL weight-loss goal for the January 4-5 weigh-in. Challenging, to say the least.

Don't notch it back yet ... after having lost SO much weight SO successfully, it's hard to keep at it in a really intensive way ALL the time. But it's good to dig in and really HIT it from time to time ... I'm feeling like my weight loss has slowed after the first period of really dropping a lot. I think that I'm going to plan to just WHALE on it after Christmas, so I can see some "Significant Digit" drops again. Kinda want to "surprise my body" now and then by MAJOR eating-well and MAJOR exercise, then let it recover with slower weight loss for a while again, after that. I think it's juuuuuust about time for that, for me. How about you? Ready to jump into it big-time, again, with me?

Yes SIR!! I'm ready for you to smack me upside the head, if I need it. :D I re-calculated my caloric intake goal the other day, and it was an education to learn that it had dropped by almost 100 calories per day. Knowing that might help me kick back into a higher weight-loss trendline again. PLUS whaling on it after Christmas should help!

Yuppers ... ain't no steenkin' plateau gonna resist for long. I imagine your 'maintenance' level of calories has dropped steadily along with your weight, and so the amount of food you need to eat to lose has dropped as well. Stands to reason. But you've got this knocked. You'll make it come off.

Jeevan!! You're a rock star!! You left a note on my board and I see now that you've already dropped over 30 pounds!! DAMN, man!! I am SO impressed! It's interesting to see you're on a vegan diet ... lots of folks don't do that right, and it's that much more laudable seeing that you've managed that additional complication so well! As the Aussie's might say, "Good on ya, mate!"
